Thanks to our partnership with Chess in the Schools, all PS 199x students will graduate knowing how to play chess. 

Wellness in the Schools is a longstanding partner of PS 199x The Shakespeare School that provides experiences to our students focusing on nutrition and fitness. Healthy body, healthy mind, Also teaching public school students healthy habits to learn, live, and thrive.

At P.S. 199x SCAN-Harbor provides us with Academic tutoring, enrichment activities, recreation and cultural programs for our students.​

Cool Culture partners with P.S.199x and over 450 schools and early childhood programs annually to connect 50,000 historically marginalized families and their young children with free, unlimited general admission to Cool Culture network of 90 museums, historical societies, zoos and botanical gardens.

The mission of Sandy Hook Promise is to educate and empower youth and adults to prevent violence in schools, homes and communities.  Sandy Hook Promise teach young people and adults to recognize, intervene, and get help for individuals who may be socially isolated and/or at risk of hurting themselves or others.
